Revised from previous version. The second piece penned for the M&J Big Band of Pottsville, Pa, 'Sway.' Featuring an irresistible Latin dance groove, hot brass, and melodic winds, 'Sway' begs the audience to dance.
Inspired by and very similar to the recording by Michael Buble, this arrangement allows the vocalist-deprived group an excellent alternative. The arrangement offers the ambitious Alto Sax soloist the chance to shine on a classic performed by Buble, as well as Dean Martin and many others. The Piano, Guitar, Bass, and Drum parts are open to embellishment. The screaming Trumpet parts may be dropped the octave if needed.
